Responsibilities

• Processes freight and assists with price changes/markdowns.
• Balances register according to company policy.
• Bags merchandise efficiently at checkout.
• Handles cash, checks and credit cards correctly and by company policy.
• Obtains management approval for returns/voids, when needed.
• Maintains store cleanliness and housekeeping as assigned.
• Provides proper customer service: greeting, fitting room policy adherence, timely ringing, thanks and invitation to return.
• Follows all safety procedures.
• Keeps a professional, neat appearance with a name tag.
• Assists with merchandising on the sales floor.
• Explains exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Supports Loss Prevention procedures and reports incidents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
