Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking a Sales Associate to provide professional, courteous service on the sales floor and assist customers with merchandise placement and care. You will help maintain a welcoming store environment and support promotional activities.

Responsibilities include stocking, merchandising, assisting with fitting rooms or locked cases, and communicating inventory needs to management while upholding safety and cleanliness standards for staff and donors.

Qualifications

• Retail or production experience preferred.
• Work varied schedule and flexible hours.
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Salvages, recovers, stocks and merchandises product following store standards.
• Monitors product while assisting customers with fitting rooms or locked cases.
• Communicates issues with merchandise levels or merchandising standards to management.
• Places product and supplies in correct areas according to store standards.
• Provides exceptional customer service and alerts management to customer concerns.
• Familiar with store promotions and services to inform customers about Goodwill offerings.
• Maintains store environment standards to ensure a clean, friendly, safe atmosphere for all.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
