Job summary

Five Below is seeking part-time Sales Associates to be at the heart of the in-store action. You will deliver outstanding customer service, drive sales, keep merchandise organized, and ensure a fast, seamless checkout experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, assessing needs, promoting events, handling returns with courtesy, and communicating stock and policy updates to management. A flexible schedule including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (cash registers, handheld devices).
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
• Able to handle customer interactions courteously and professionally.
• Basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
• On-the-job training will provide procedural knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly: Approach and acknowledge customers, providing assistance and handling multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs: Share product knowledge, answer questions, direct to merchandise, offer recommendations, and suggestive sell.
• Promote store events and promotions: Inform customers about current events and promotions to drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns: Address issues and offer alternatives, aiming for exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management: Inform management about restocking and feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals: Collaborate to achieve store objectives and maintain a positive environment.
