Job summary

The Children's Place in Joliet, Illinois is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will deliver excellent customer service, explain product features, and use selling techniques to meet targets while keeping the store well-presented and stocked.

You'll work with a team to greet customers, manage transactions at the cashwrap, and participate in loss-prevention practices, safety, and housekeeping to maintain a clean, organized shopping

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency; prioritize assisting customers.
• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service at the cashwrap; educate customers on the PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure all sizes and styles are represented; follow merchandising standards.
• Support a neat, clean, and safe store and backroom; adhere to safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Contribute to store goals through focused, well-managed efforts; assist with stock processing when needed.
