Job summary

The Children’s Place in Peoria, Illinois is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will provide friendly, knowledgeable service and use effective selling techniques to help customers and maximize sales.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining merchandise presentation, assisting with stock and backroom organization, and processing transactions at the cashwrap while promoting promotions and the PLACE Card.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
• Maintain merchandise presentation, replenishment, and sizing.
• Assist customers with promotions and solutions for out-of-stock items when necessary.
• Process transactions accurately at the cashwrap and educate customers on benefits.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized stockroom and store environment.
• Support and contribute to achievement of store goals.
