Job summary

The Children's Place in Atlantic City, NJ is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team, deliver excellent customer service, and apply product knowledge with effective selling techniques.

You will greet customers, maintain merchandise presentation and stock, assist at the cashwrap, and help achieve store goals. Applicants must be at least 18 and have a high school diploma; retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and acknowledge them with a sense of urgency.
• Explain value and promotions and offer solutions for out-of-stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment and courtesy.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Assist at the cashwrap and educate customers on the PLACE Card benefits.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure sizes/styles are represented.
• Follow standards for merchandise presentation, signage, and display.
• Support a neat, clean stockroom and a customer-ready environment.
