The Sales Associate will assist customers, process transactions, maintain store presentation, and ensure adherence to company policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Numerical skills for basic calculations (addition, subtraction, percentages).

Responsibilities

• Processes freight
• Assisting with price changes/markdowns
• Balances register according to company policy
• Bags merchandise efficiently when completing a customer's transaction
• Handles all cash, checks and credit cards correctly and by company policy
• Obtains management approval when needed for returns, voids and checks
• Handles maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned
• Provides proper customer service such as greeting customers, fitting room policies, ringing up customers promptly, and inviting return visits
• Follows all safety procedures
• Maintains professional appearance including name tag
• Assists management in merchandising on the sales floor
• Explains exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions
• Supports Loss Prevention procedures and reports incidents of theft or dishonesty
• Performs other duties as may be assigned
