Job summary

The Children’s Place in Fairfield, CA is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will deliver excellent customer service with strong product knowledge and effective selling techniques, while maintaining merchandising standards and stock levels.

You will assist at the cashwrap, communicate promotions, and help keep the store clean and organized. A flexible schedule, weekend/evening availability, and 18+ age are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency.
• Greet customers and provide the appropriate level of service.
• Explain promotions and offer solutions for out-of-stock items.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and promote the PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure sizes and styles are represented.
• Follow merchandise presentation standards and signage.
• Keep a neat, clean stockroom and safe environment.
• Contribute to store goals and assist with stock processing as needed.
