Job summary

The Children’s Place in Valencia, California is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team and deliver excellent customer service. The role requires greeting customers, sharing product knowledge, and processing transactions at the cashwrap while maintaining attractive merchandise presentation.

You must be at least 18 years old, have a High School diploma or equivalent, and be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with a sense of urgency.
• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
• Effectively communicate value and quality of merchandise and promotions.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and educate customers on the PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure sizes and styles are represented.
• Follow standards of merchandise presentation, signage, and display.
• Keep stockroom neat, clean, and organized and maintain a customer-ready environment.
