Job summary

The Children’s Place in Gurnee, Illinois is hiring a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will deliver excellent customer service, know product details, and use effective selling techniques while maintaining store standards and neat backroom organization.

You will assist with stock, promotions, and loss prevention, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings. Prior retail experience is preferred and candidates must be 18 or older.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
• Assist customers with product questions and promotions to drive sales.
• Maintain merchandise presentation, signage, and fit of products on the floor.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and educate customers on payment options.
• Keep stockroom neat and ensure proper stock levels and size availability.
• Adhere to loss prevention procedures and report any issues to leadership.
