Job summary

Caleres, Inc. in Ridgecrest is seeking a store associate to manage Ace Retail Operations, ensuring pricing, shipments, fulfillment and inventory are dialed in so the store runs smoothly.

You will champion our Famous culture by delivering top-notch customer connections and helping shoppers find the perfect styles. You’ll review store performance, drive sales with urgency to meet goals, and communicate clearly with the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to build constructive relationships with store staff.
• Strong communication with store associates at all levels.
• Must exercise independent judgment and discretion with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory) are dialed in.
• Provide stellar customer engagement and leave customers wowed with top-notch experiences.
• Review store performance and drive sales with purpose to achieve goals; communicate clearly with the team.
• Uphold company policies and procedures with integrity.
• Uplift and support teammates and assist with training and development when needed.
