Job summary

Caleres, Inc. is seeking a store associate in Glendale, AZ to manage daily retail tasks and ensure an organized, shopper-friendly environment. You will engage customers with enthusiasm, build relationships, and act as a brand ambassador for Famous Footwear and its brands.

You’ll review performance, drive sales with urgency, and communicate clearly with the store team while upholding integrity, inclusivity, and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships with store team.
• Excellent communication with store associates at all levels.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion with Store Sales Manager collaboration.
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipments, fulfilment and inventory) run smoothly.
• Deliver stellar customer engagement and help customers find the styles they crave.
• Review store performance and drive sales with purpose and urgency to achieve goals.
• Maintain integrity by following company policies and procedures.
• Foster diversity and inclusivity, support training and development for teammates.
