The Children's Place in Altamonte Springs, Florida is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals and delivering exceptional customer service.

You will apply product knowledge, assist customers, and help maintain appealing merchandise presentation and a clean store environment. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, and a proactive attitude toward sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with a sense of urgency, prioritizing assisting customers over other tasks.
• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
• Effectively communicate value and quality of our merchandise while sharing current promotions.
• Exercise sound judgment in effectively addressing customer concerns.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and educate customers on the PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure all sizes/styles are represented.
• Follow standards of merchandise presentation, signage, and display.
• Maintain clean stockroom and customer-ready environment; adhere to safety requirements.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties to company standard.
• Inform Store Leadership Team of maintenance needs to ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Contribute to store goals with focused efforts.
• Be flexible by processing stock when necessary.
