Job summary

The Children's Place in Mesquite is hiring a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will model excellent customer service, demonstrate product knowledge, and employ effective selling techniques to enhance the shopper experience.

You will maintain merchandise presentation, replenish stock, and keep the backroom clean and organized, while following loss prevention procedures and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
• Effectively communicate value and quality of merchandise and current promotions.
• Offer solutions for out-of-stock items when necessary.
• Exercise sound judgment in addressing customer concerns.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and educate on the PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure sizes and styles are represented.
• Follow standards of merchandise presentation, signage, and display.
• Keep stockroom neat, clean, and organized; support a customer-ready environment.
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standard and support safety requirements.
• Inform Store Leadership of maintenance needs to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Contribute to store goals with focused, well-managed efforts.
