Job summary

Carter's is seeking a Sales Associate to be the first face of the brand, greeting and assisting families with our babies’ products. You will help customers choose items, process transactions, and participate in replenishment and merchandising.

The role supports a welcoming store environment and promotes our loyalty program and promotions. Ideal candidates bring strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills as well as the ability to work in a fast paced retail setting, including

Qualifications

Demonstrated customer service and engagement skills.
Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to manage multiple tasks at once.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits.
Confidently and proactively resolve issues for customers in a busy retail environment.
Meet customer needs by assisting with omnichannel as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Execute and expedite point of sale/register transactions.
Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed.
Articulate current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
Minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
