The Chickasaw Nation is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate for the WinStar Gift Shop, with hours 2:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Mon-Fri, Sat. You will provide top-notch customer service, process transactions at the POS, balance cash, and assist with inventory and promotions.

Training and compliance are required, with focus on loss prevention and safety. Experience is not required, but a strong work ethic and professionalism are essential.

Qualifications

Description

We are currently looking for aFull Time Retail Sales Associateto join our WinStar Retail Group team located at the WinStar Gift Shop working2:00PM-11:30PM - We Th Fr Sa.

Summary

Assists in all stores operational tasks such as inventory, cash protection and loss prevention, overhead and supply costs.

Responsibilities
  • Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
  • Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
  • Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
  • Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment
  • Maintains and promotes professionalism
  • Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
  • Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
  • Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
  • Explains various aspects of programs, promotions, benefits, rewards and or requirements to internal and external customers, citizens, etc.
  • Picks up and signs for cash bank to be used on assigned shift
  • Maintains purchase log of sales conducted on assigned shift to be given to Gift Shop Manager for inventory purposes
  • Audits and reconciles credit card receipts, cash received, and balance cash drawer on assigned shift, and complete cash report for all cash denomination and credit card receipts
  • Promotes products to increase guest satisfaction and store sales
  • Handles routine customer complaints and incidents, exhibiting the appropriate discretion to identify situations that require the attention of supervisory personnel
  • Assists and guides customers with purchase selection
  • Engages potential customers and guides with selection and purchase decisions
  • May order catolog items if not in stock
  • Promotes products to increase guest satisfaction and store sales
  • Operates point-of-sale terminal to tally customer purchases and ensure accurate payment is received

  • Provides accurate change for cash purchases
  • Processes discounts, refunds, exchanges, coupons accurately
  • Balances register/terminal and completes reports for receipts, cash balance
  • May perform minor trouble shooting of POS
  • Maintains accurate cash count and assume responsibility for any shortages at end of shift
  • May be responsible to confirm POS pricing updates
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
