The Chickasaw Nation is seeking a Part Time Travel Stop Associate to join the CTS 550 Unit 3 team at the Chickasaw Travel Stop #550. You will operate the cash register, assist customers, stock inventory and keep the area clean while delivering friendly service.

Responsibilities include handling cash, processing discounts and refunds, maintaining safety, and promoting products to increase guest satisfaction and store sales while adhering to dress code and training requirements.

  • Operate point-of-sale terminal and balance till during shifts.

We are currently looking for aPart Time 38 Travel Stop Associate Ito join our CTS 550 Unit 3 team located at the Chickasaw Travel Stop #550 working.

Summary

Operates cash register, performs combination of cleaning tasks including maintaining restrooms, front and face products, restock inventory and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
  • Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
  • Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
  • Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment
  • Maintains and promotes professionalism
  • Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
  • Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
  • Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
  • Sweeps, mops, dusts, vacuums and performs basic cleaning and janitorial procedures
  • Mixes various cleaning agents and use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces
  • Maintains equipment and materials used to fulfill tasks and replenish supplies and keep simple records of work performed and materials used
  • Assists and guides customers with purchase selection
  • Engages potential customers and guides with selection and purchase decisions
  • May order catolog items if not in stock
  • Promotes products to increase guest satisfaction and store sales
  • Operates point-of-sale terminal to tally customer purchases and ensure accurate payment is received
  • Provides accurate change for cash purchases
  • Processes discounts, refunds, exchanges, coupons accurately
  • Balances register/terminal and completes reports for receipts, cash balance
  • May perform minor trouble shooting of POS
  • Maintains accurate cash count and assume responsibility for any shortages at end of shift
  • May be responsible to confirm POS pricing updates
  • Audits register and change box funds by auditing account shortages and overages through process of counting their shift bag down before and after closing out shift
  • Stocks inventory several times during shift by placing products on display shelf for customer availability
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
