Job summary

Cash America Pawn in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate. Earn $15.25–$18.00 per hour plus unlimited commission and valuable benefits. Typical hours are 9AM–6PM with Sundays off in many locations; earned wage access is available after day 2 and employee discounts start day one.

You will greet customers, explain pawn terms, process sales and loans, assess merchandise value, and keep the floor inviting and organized. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided).
• Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus.
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas.

Responsibilities

• Support customers with pawn and short-term loan services by explaining terms, completing paperwork, and ensuring a smooth, customer-focused experience
• Process sales and loan activity accurately while following company and regulatory guidelines
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and merchandise displays
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly
• Support store operations, including basic opening/closing tasks
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members
• Complete required training and follow company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
