Job summary

Sugarbush Resort is seeking Retail Sales Associates for a full- or part-time seasonal role from November to the end of the season. Starting pay is $20/hour, with opportunities to engage guests and grow with the resort.

You will greet guests, assist with product selection, upsell, operate the POS, and help with inventory while collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience and consistent pricing across locations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work outdoors in extreme weather.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to guests.
• Greets and receive customers in a welcoming manner.
• Assist the customer in finding the right product for their needs and desires.
• Know the product and services offered in your location as well as other Retail/Rental locations and the Resort as a whole.
• Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
• Responds to customers’ questions.
• Work with POS and processing payments.
• Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Continually exceed our guests’ expectations and create memories for both guests & employees, not only in Retail but as a resort.
• Work independently on ideas that are for the benefit of your location.
• Perform other duties as required by Retail Manager and Supervisor.
• Work closely with other departments at the resort to maintain consistency of product and pricing.
• Perform other duties within the Resort when needed.

POSITION SUMMARY

Sugarbush Resort is searching for Retail Sales Associates to join our team! The Sales Associates perform merchandising functions while providing exceptional customer service to our guests. QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Ability to meet federal, state, and local requirements for employment.
• Ability to pass a federal and state background check.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work at least 8 hours on your feet.
• Ability to function in and outdoors during extreme weather conditions.
