Job summary

Sugarbush Resort seeks a Retail Warehouse Assistant to join our seasonal team. You’ll assist the Retail Warehouse Manager with receiving, ticketing, transfers, and delivering merchandise to resort locations, with responsibilities including sales and basic customer service during peak times.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of retail or customer service preferred.
• Able to meet federal, state, and local employment requirements.
• Valid driver's license and insurance required.
• Able to pass federal and state background checks.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand, stoop, bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work at least 8 hours on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Assist Retail Warehouse Manager with processing incoming merchandise: receiving, ticketing, transfers and delivery to retail locations.
• Support in retail shops during peak times with sales, cashiering and customer service.
• Receive product on packing slips and purchase orders according to procedures.
• Ticket product following established procedures.
• Deliver merchandise to correct locations using the retail van.
• Run replenishment reports, pick inventory, complete transfers and deliver inventory to locations.
• Operate inventory management software RTP.
• Understand duties of retail clerks and perform them as needed.
• Know the products and services offered at Retail locations and the Resort.

Position Summary

Sugarbush Resort is seeking a Retail Warehouse Assistant to join our team! The Retail Warehouse Assistant is responsible for assisting the Retail Warehouse Manager with processing incoming merchandise through the Retail Warehouse - receiving, ticketing, transfer & delivery to retail locations within the resort. When necessary, assisting in retail shops during peak times including: sales, cashiering and customer service. Product knowledge and housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized inventory is essential. This is a full or part-time seasonal position from November until the end of the season with starting pay at $21/hour.

Responsibilities

• Completing instruction given by the Retail Warehouse Manager.
• Following operational procedures as outlined by SOPs.
• Assist in accepting UPS, FedEx and freight deliveries, assist in off-loading and counting them in.
• Receive product on packing slips & Purchase Orders according to established procedures.
• Ticket product following established procedures.
• Deliver merchandise to correct locations using the retail van following established procedures.
• Assist the Retail Warehouse Manager in running replenishment reports, picking inventory, completing transfers, and delivering inventory to correct location.
• Work on inventory management computer system in RTP.
• Thoroughly understand and exercise the duties and procedures required of retail clerks.
• Know the product and services offered in Retail locations and the Resort as a whole.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of retail or other customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to meet federal, state, and local requirements for employment.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and insurance.
• Ability to pass a federal and state background check.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand stoop, bend and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work at least 8 hours on your feet.
