What you'll be doing

As a full‑time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you will generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting‑edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network. You will learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions. You will position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top‑down sales solution. You will close sales by using strong communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions. You will continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up‑skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory. You will have the potential to grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers. You will have opportunities to engage with the community outside of the store to expand your loyal customer base, including at off‑site Verizon‑sponsored events.

What we're looking for

You need to have:

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (you will know your schedule four weeks in advance).
• Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, typically during the summer months, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.

Even better if you have:

• Experience working in a commission‑based environment.
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions.
• Customer service experience.

Benefits and Compensation

Base pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour. You can earn up to $18,000 per year in individual‑based commissions if you hit your sales goals. Top performers could add an extra $14,500 or more in commissions, giving a total potential earnings range of $65,000 to $75,500+ annually. Compensation varies by geography, hours worked, and performance.

Working Conditions

Work onsite at a defined location(s). Scheduled weekly hours: 40. This commission‑based position may include premium pay options such as overtime, shift differential, holiday pay, and allowances.
