Job summary

AAA Club Alliance in Richmond, VA is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to help members plan trips, promote memberships, and provide exceptional service across travel, insurance and financial products.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with Saturdays, a 37.5 hour week, paid time off, and a generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a company match 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trust.
• Comfortable navigating multiple systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous sales experience is a plus.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Promote AAA memberships, insurance referrals, and financial products.
• Assist customers with travel planning including hotels, car rentals, and vacation packages.
• Manage and respond to Roadside Assistance calls throughout the day.
• Contribute to team operations by helping with cashiering, tag and title services, and ID services as needed.

Work That Rewards You, In More Ways Than One Hourly Pay: $16.37 to $20.93 hourly. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.

Monthly Incentive Opportunity: Average $162 – $389 in bonus earnings per month based on individual performance.

Schedule You’ll Love: Monday to Friday, 8AM to 6PM, and Saturday, 8AM to 5PM; 37.5 Hour Work Week No late nights. No Sundays!

What You’ll Do as a Retail Sales Associate

• Consistently promote and recommend AAA memberships, insurance referrals, and financial products
• Assist customers with travel planning including hotels, car rentals, and vacation packages
• Manage and respond to Roadside Assistance calls continuously throughout the day
• Contribute to team operations by helping with cashiering, tag and title services, and ID services as needed

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Basic geography knowledge is a plus
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain with 6 months of employment

Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results including criminal, drug, and state and/or vendor specific screenings. This may include the ability to obtain necessary Membership license (or others) as required to perform the essential functions of the position.
