Job summary

AAA is seeking a Retail Sales Associate in Norman, OK. You will play a key role in delivering value to AAA members while supporting overall sales goals. The position involves promoting memberships, guiding travel planning, and handling roadside assistance calls with a customer-first approach.

You’ll work Monday to Friday, 8AM–6PM and Saturday 8AM–5PM for a 37.5-hour week, with no late nights or Sundays, and you’ll be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills; ability to explain value clearly.
• Comfortable navigating multiple systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screenings as required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and recommend AAA memberships, insurance referrals, and financial products.
• Assist customers with travel planning including hotels, car rentals, and vacation packages.
• Manage and respond to Roadside Assistance calls throughout the day.
• Contribute to team operations by helping with cashiering, tag and title services, and ID services as needed.

• Monthly Incentive Opportunity: Average $162 – $389 in bonus earnings per month based on individual performance.

What You’ll Do as a Retail Sales Associate

• Assist customers with travel planning including hotels, car rentals, and vacation packages

• Contribute to team operations by helping with cashiering, tag and title services, and ID services as needed

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Strong communication skills - you can build trust and explain value clearly

• Previous sales experience is a plus
• Basic geography knowledge is a plus
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain with 6 months of employment.
• Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results including criminal, drug, and state and/or vendor specific screenings. This may include the ability to obtain necessary Membership license (or others) as required to perform the essential functions of the position.
