Job summary

Goodwill of Greater Washington is seeking a Sales Team Member to deliver friendly, professional service to customers inside and outside the store, and over the phone. You will help keep the sales floor organized, ring transactions accurately, and handle cash with care.

The role requires basic math skills, the ability to stand for long periods, and the physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Previous retail experience and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, courteous service to customers in-store, outside, and on the phone.
• Ensure merchandise is on the sales floor promptly.
• Ring items accurately on the register and handle transactions.
• Demonstrate accurate cash handling and use of payment devices.
• Maintain knowledge of merchandise and assist customers promptly.
• Keep floor merchandise neat and assist with selections.
• Present a clean, professional appearance and maintain register area.
