Walmart is recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of refrigeration and HVAC equipment at Walmart facilities. The role uses commercial HVAC/R skills, hand and power tools, and a formal work-order system to keep stores running smoothly.

The position requires at least 2 years of refrigeration HVAC maintenance experience, EPA refrigerant handling certification, a valid driver’s license, and a HS diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 2 years of commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance experience.
• Large scale rack refrigeration experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR.
• 18 years or older with HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart refrigeration HVAC equipment using hand, digital and power tools to complete jobs.
• Utilize the work order system to receive and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Follow safety policies and EPA environmental guidelines in all work.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights regularly.
