Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of refrigeration HVAC equipment across local stores. The role uses commercial HVAC/R skills and tools to complete repairs and maintain assets.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of commercial refrigeration HVAC experience, large-scale rack refrigeration experience, EPA refrigerant handling certification, a valid driver’s license, and an HS diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration experience.
• EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling (Type I/II or Universal).
• Holding a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and able to pass MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC/refrigeration skills and tools.
• Use work order management system to receive and document repair work orders and support stores.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required safety training to operate equipment and tools.
