Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician in Bedford, IN to support repair and maintenance of refrigeration HVAC equipment across Walmart facilities. The role requires up-to-date EPA refrigerant handling certification and 2+ years of commercial HVAC experience.

You will work with hand and power tools, document activities in the work order system, respond to emergencies, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid state driver's license with clean MVR
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Utilize work order management system to receive repair work orders and document activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues and ensure safety compliance.
• Complete training to operate equipment safely and follow Walmart safety/environmental guidelines.
