Job summary

Walmart is recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repairs across Walmart facilities. You will work with commercial HVAC equipment, using hand tools, digital tools, and power tools to complete jobs in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires 2+ years in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA certification for refrigerant handling, a valid Driver’s license, and a HS diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
• Use the work order system to receive repair tickets and document activities for Stores and Associates.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely; follow safety policies.
