Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is hiring at TJ Maxx in Tupelo, MS. Join our team delivering a positive customer experience and efficient store operations through merchandise processing and teamwork.

As a member of the operations team, you’ll assist with receiving, stocking, pricing, and maintaining clean, organized selling floors while upholding safety and company policies. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Flexible scheduling including nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with/without accommodation.
• At least 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards.
• Ensure excellent customer experience and engage with customers.
• Orchestrate truck delivery and merchandise flow to sales floor.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising principles.
• Ensure merchandise is tagged, hung, and coded properly.
• Maintain backroom organization, cleanliness, and signage standards.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and safety procedures.
• Promote and support store shrink reduction goals.
