Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc.—TJ Maxx in Spartanburg, SC is hiring to execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensure fast, organized processing, and deliver an excellent customer experience. You’ll be part of a collaborative team keeping the store clean, shelves stocked, and displays attractive to drive sales.

Flexibility is required, including nights and weekends. Strong communication, multi-tasking, and the ability to lift heavy objects are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Superior communication and organizational skills.
• Capable of multi-tasking and working with peers and supervisors.
• Able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations.

Responsibilities

• Executes receiving and merchandising standards.
• Ensures a positive customer experience.
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensures merchandise is tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor.
• Monitors productivity of team and coaches as necessary.
• Organizes and rotates back stock for replenishment.
• Maintains merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
• Upholds backroom cleanliness and safety standards.
• Promotes and adheres to labor laws and store policies.
