Job summary

HomeGoods, part of the TJX Companies family, is seeking a team-oriented associate for our Winston-Salem location. You will execute receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring smooth store operations and a positive customer experience.

You’ll be involved in merchandising flow, training teammates, and maintaining backroom organization. This role emphasizes flexibility to work nights and weekends, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking and adapting to changes in direction.
• Experience in retail with leadership exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processes.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a clean, organized store.
• Orchestrate truck delivery and prioritize merchandise flow to the floor.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, coded, and presented.
• Communicate with management to keep priorities and progress up to date.
• Monitor team productivity and provide coaching as needed.
• Maintain backroom organization and recovery standards.
• Support safety, labor policy adherence, and store shrink reduction goals.
