Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Real Estate Development Manager in Charlotte, NC to locate sites and manage acquisitions with entitlements. The role involves market planning, negotiations, and coordinating with construction and franchise teams to optimize real estate assets.

Minimum 3–7 years in retail/real estate, strong negotiation and due diligence skills, and proficiency with Excel/PowerPoint are required. Travel and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–7 years in commercial brokerage, development or CRE management with retail/fuel experience.
• Ability to purchase and develop retail locations; knowledge of Southeast US markets helpful.
• Strong teamwork, multitasking, and deadline orientation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare market development plans and growth strategies for each area.
• Coordinate with finance, fuels, and construction to qualify sites.
• Negotiate purchase contracts and leases; manage due diligence and entitlements.
• Organize market tours, ride binds, and market summaries for approvals.
• Ensure compliance and coordinate with architects, engineers and attorneys.
