Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician for our local stores. You will support and oversee repair of refrigeration HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC skills, hand tools, and digital tools to complete tasks.

Requirements include 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA Type I/II or Universal Certification, a valid driver’s license, and a HS diploma.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling (Type I/II or Universal).
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
• Use the work order system to manage repair tasks and document activity.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment safely.
• Follow OSHA and EPA guidelines and Walmart safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights.
