Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at our Chesterfield, VA store. You will support and oversee repair of Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets across Walmart facilities using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills with hand and power tools.

The role requires 2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA Type I/II orUniversal certification, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using HVAC and Refrigeration skills and various tools.
• Use the work order system to receive repair Work Orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart safety policies.
