Job summary

Food Lion seeks a store associate to maintain a clean, safe, inviting shopping environment. You will provide fast, friendly service, assist customers, and work with teammates to meet company standards.

Daily duties include sweeping and cleaning floors, weekly department upkeep, following sanitation guidelines, and completing CBT trainings. The position requires physical activity, reliability, and a willingness to learn multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness and provide fast, friendly, accurate service.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates and customers.
• Sweep and clean floors on nights with no scheduled vendor services.
• Weekly cleaning of Produce, Market and Deli Departments and maintaining sanitation standards.
• Follow QA daily checklists and sanitation standards; ensure safety guidelines are followed.
• Follow all company policies and standard practices; report accidents and hazards.
• Wear Food Lion uniform with name badge and maintain neat appearance.
• Complete CBT, Training Packet and Training Aid courses; perform other duties as assigned.
