Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is seeking a Retail Purchasing Clerk in Las Vegas to support the buying team from PO creation to delivery. You will manage re-orders, maintain product styles in the system, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.

The role focuses on accurate order processing, strong vendor communications, and achieving inventory and cost-efficiency targets in a fast-paced casino-entertainment environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; retail software is a plus.
• Strong math skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders from start to finish, supporting the buyer.
• Nurture timely re-order processes and accurate PO entry.
• Ensure timely delivery of new products and re-orders; manage item linking for basic stock.
• Create and maintain product styles in the system; perform style maintenance and updates.
• Maintain professional vendor communications and relationships; respond promptly to inquiries.
• Distribute and enforce vendor compliance standards.
• Address operations, accounting and distribution center issues quickly.
• Conduct regular competitive shopping and report findings to management.
• Assist in developing and communicating product knowledge seminars from vendors.
• Coordinate vendor training, events, and appearances to drive revenue.
• Meet or exceed budgets for revenue, margin, inventory and expense goals.
