Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill is seeking a energetic Retail Processor for our Jennings Store – Florissant team. The role involves handling donations, sorting items, pricing with AMI software, and ensuring clean, organized sales floors while delivering excellent customer service.

The position is hourly full-time with a rate of $15.50 per hour and a potential monthly bonus up to $250. Comprehensive benefits, flexible schedules, and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred; no degree required.
• Effective communication with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Handle donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated/purchased goods into categories (sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, trash).
• Inspect items to distinguish quality and determine placement (sales floor, recycling, online).
• Identify and price items using AMI pricing software.
• Maintain high quality/quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
• Stock, straighten, rotate, and keep store area clean.
• Provide positive customer service to in-person and phone customers; uphold cleanliness.
• Maintain professional relationships with team members and leadership; cross-functional communication.
• Follow safe work practices and keep aisles clear of obstructions.
• Maintain a professional appearance per dress code.
• Safeguard assets from theft or damage and report incidents.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
