Job summary

City of Lincoln seeks a Retail POS Solution Support Engineer to provide Level 2 technical support across Retalix POS, NCR Aloha POS, Verifone payment solutions, and related back-office applications in a multi-location retail environment.

You will diagnose application, payment, inventory, and hardware issues, coordinate with cross-functional teams, perform system administration, and support software deployments with strong SLA adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting Retail POS environments.
• Experience providing Level 2 technical support in production environments.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for Retalix POS, NCR Aloha POS, Back Office Systems (BOS), and retail applications.
• Troubleshoot issues related to sales transactions, pricing, promotions, discounts, inventory, menu configurations, and store operations.
• Resolve transaction failures, EOD processing issues, and payment processing errors; support store operations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
