Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy Technician license through the Oregon Board of Pharmacy.
• Preferred: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license through the Oregon Board of Pharmacy; national certification (PTCB/NHA).
• BLS for Healthcare Provider may be required.

Responsibilities

• Interprets, and accurately data enters prescription information into the pharmacy computer system.
• Bills third party insurance plans accurately and resolves rejected claims.
• Provides excellent customer service in person and on the telephone.
• Assists pharmacist in various tasks daily.
• Maintains and controls inventory within reasonable guidelines.
• Administers immunizations as directed by leadership and policy, with proper training.
