Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician I for our Specialty & Retail Pharmacy. You will assist in preparing and delivering medications, entering prescriptions, and handling POS transactions while ensuring accuracy and patient safety within a fast-paced hospital setting.

Prospective candidates should have an RPhT certification, a high school diploma, and a background in retail pharmacy. IV certification is preferred; flexible hours and weekend shifts are required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• RPhT registration required upon hire.
• IV certification preferred.
• 2 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English, basic math, and ability to use computers.
• Ability to lift, stand, and move equipment for the shift.

Responsabilidades

• Timely and accurate preparation and delivery of medications to nursing units and departments.
• Process prescription data entry and filling; handle POS transactions and patient delivery/shipping where applicable.
• Maintain accuracy and comply with quality improvement and patient safety standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and model accountability.
• Communicate effectively and foster teamwork; train new staff as needed.
• Identify opportunities to reduce pharmaceutical costs and improve processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
