Job summary

Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician I for the 2nd shift. You will prepare and deliver medications to nursing units, maintain accuracy and documentation, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements include a high school diploma, RPhT certification on hire, and preferred inpatient hospital and sterile IV experience. Strong English and computer skills, plus teamwork, are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• RPhT registration is required on hire.
• Two years of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Sterile IV Certification is highly preferred.
• Inpatient hospital experience is highly preferred.
• Proficient in written and spoken English, basic math, and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate preparation and delivery of medications to nursing units and departments, including use of applicable technology.
• Ensure accuracy of own work and maintain required competencies and documentation.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and manage time effectively.
• Communicate effectively and foster teamwork; train new employees as directed.
• Help minimize pharmaceutical costs and identify process efficiencies.
