Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center seeks a Retail Pharmacy Supervisor to lead pharmacists, technicians, and staff at our South Lake Union campus. You will oversee daily operations, staffing, inventory, compliance, and service excellence.

The role emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, quality improvement, and ensuring safe outpatient medication management, with a strong focus on patient safety and leadership development.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree or equivalent from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• 4 years as Pharmacist or 2 years in a Lead/Supervisory role.
• State of Washington Pharmacist License.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations, distribution systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with pharmacy information systems and dispensing tech.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and workflow oversight for pharmacists, technicians, and staff.
• Hire, train, coach, and evaluate personnel for high performance.
• Develop, implement, and maintain departmental policies and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state requirements and accreditation standards.
• Lead quality assurance, medication safety, and improvement initiatives.
