Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN, seeks a Pharmacy leader to provide leadership, oversight, and standardization for retail pharmacy services or assigned region. You will implement strategic initiatives, manage utilization, and drive quality, safety, and efficiency.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred), Indiana Pharmacist license, and at least five years’ retail pharmacy experience with management exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• PharmD preferred or MBA as a plus.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

• Responsible for providing leadership, oversight, alignment, and standardization for retail pharmacy services or assignedregion/business line. Implement strategic and operational initiatives including new services and programs, revenueenhancement, expense reduction, managed care utilization systems, and strategies. Responsible for ensuringperformance excellence in terms of quality, safety, service, affordability, and technology. Oversees drug utilizationmanagement efforts, manages educational activities, and provides subject matter expertise in assigned areas.

What you'll need:

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required. Advanced or Master's degree preferred (e.g., PharmD,MBA).

Licensure/Certification:

• Active Indiana Pharmacist License. Current vaccination certification or willingness to obtainone.

Experience:

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a retail pharmacist. Three (3) years of pharmacy managementexperience preferred.

• Must be able towork concurrently on a variety of tasks/projects in an environment that may be stressful with individuals havingdiverse personalities and work styles.
• This position requires visual acuity, keen hearing, clear distinctive speech, and manual dexterity.
• This position mayrequire potentially prolonged periods of continued walking, standing, stooping, sitting, bending, pulling, and pushing.
• Must possess the ability to comply with Trinity Health policies and procedures.
