Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, Indiana, is seeking a Pharmacy Leader to oversee retail pharmacy services and related regional programs. You will drive strategic initiatives, ensure high-quality care, manage drug utilization, and mentor teams across the system.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or equivalent with an Indiana license and at least five years in retail pharmacy, including management experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy is required. Advanced or Master’s degree preferred (e.g., PharmD, MBA).
Active Indiana Pharmacist License. Current vaccination certification or willingness to obtain one.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a retail pharmacist. Three (3) years of pharmacy management experience preferred.
Must be able to set and organize own work priorities and adapt to change; handle multiple tasks in a stressful environment.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership, oversight, alignment, and standardization for retail pharmacy services or assigned region/business line.
Implement strategic and operational initiatives including new services, revenue enhancement, and expense reduction.
Ensure performance excellence in quality, safety, service, affordability, and technology; oversee drug utilization management.
Manage educational activities and provide subject matter expertise in assigned areas.
