Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a retail pharmacy role focused on safe dispensing, patient counseling, and immunizations. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, lead the team, and uphold standards of care in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires an active Pharmacist license in the state, an NPI, and not being excluded from DEA participation; overtime and weekend coverage may be required as part of patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Oversee pharmacy operations as proxy for Pharmacy Manager when needed.
• Assist in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and adherence to workflow procedures.
• Provide immunizations and patient counseling.
• Coach and develop pharmacy team to improve performance and patient care.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations.
