Job summary

King Soopers in Denver is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our customer-focused pharmacy team. You will provide exceptional service, administer immunizations, dispense medications, and review prescriptions following all laws and company policies.

You will supervise Pharmacy Technicians and Interns, maintain accuracy, ensure HIPAA and DEA compliance, and participate in recalls and safety programs. A strong communication, planning, and attention to detail are essential, along with a valid

Qualifications

Must be a licensed Pharmacist in good standing.
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
Excellent Planning and Organizational skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Driver's license and ability to travel independently.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service in a safe, clean environment.
Administer immunizations according to standing orders and procedures.
Dispense medications to customers following prescriptions and laws.
Review prescriptions issued by prescribers to ensure accuracy and needed ingredients.
Verify new medication against patient profile to prevent interactions.
Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and Interns, ensuring accuracy of prescriptions.
Support compliance with HIPAA, DEA procedures and safety programs.
Promote safety, recalls management and team collaboration.
