Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Retail Personal Banker I as part of a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service. The role focuses on consultative sales to identify financial needs, cross-selling, and building relationships within Financial Centers or Bank Marts.

Progression to the Personal Banker I is expected after training, supporting customers and processing teller transactions.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience with transferrable skills.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumers.
• Understanding of advanced math functions for credit/financial analysis.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration required at time of employment.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales to identify customer financial needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products/services and propose solutions.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities.
• Establish relationships with partners to provide holistic financial solutions.
