Job summary

Salomon North America is seeking a People & Culture Business Partner – Retail to lead recruitment, onboarding, and HR support for our growing store network. The role focuses on building high‑performing, values‑driven teams across North America with a strong emphasis on California employment law.

You will partner with store leadership, the VP of Retail, and Global P&C to ensure consistent, scalable HR practices and a compelling employee experience across regions.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in retail or consumer-facing environments.
• Strong knowledge of California employment law and compliance requirements.
• Experience in full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for new store openings, partnering with Talent Acquisition, Store Managers and the VP of Retail.
• Provide ongoing HR support, workforce planning, and guidance on employee relations and performance management.
• Advise leaders on California employment law, accommodations, leaves, wage/hour, terminations, and investigations.
• Collaborate with Retail leadership and global P&C teams to scale HR practices and ensure consistent employee experience across locations.
