Job summary

Salomon North America is seeking a People & Culture Business Partner – Retail to lead recruitment, onboarding, and HR support for our growing store network across the United States, with primary focus on California.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years HR experience, deep California employment law knowledge, and experience in high-volume retail recruiting, employee relations, and coaching store leaders to drive a strong, values-driven employee experience.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience in retail or consumer-facing environments.
• Full-cycle, high-volume recruiting and onboarding expertise.
• Deep knowledge of California employment and labor laws.
• Hands-on HRBP experience supporting California populations.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, hiring, and onboarding for new store openings.
• Ensure compliance with evolving recruitment regulations across the U.S.
• Provide guidance on employee relations and performance management.
• Partner with Retail leadership to scale HR practices across regions.
• Manage onboarding and training with HR systems (Workday, SmartRecruiters).
• Support workforce planning and turnover reduction initiatives.
