Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced functions of the DIY business and provide expert knowledge of store systems, parts, and automotive systems. The role focuses on delivering a top-notch DIY customer experience and contributing to sales goals in a full-time, on-site position.

Required 3-5 years in automotive parts with strong experience in customer transactions and sales. ASE certification is preferred but not required; valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfillment of customer transactions.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
